The Sundstrom P3 filter is one of the vast range of SR200 & SR100 filters available providing protection against all types of particles (dust, fume, fog, spray, asbestos), bacteria, viruses as well as radioactive pollution.
The Sundstrom SR510 P3 particulate filter is termed a mechanical filter benefitting from an extremely low inhalation resistance.

03. What sized particles will the Sundstrom SR510 P3R will provide protection for?
This Sundstrom SR100 filter will provide 99.997% protection from particulates & viruses such as the coronavirus which is only 0.1-0.5 microns in size. Particulates less than 4 microns can potentially cause the greatest harm as they can penetrate deep into the lungs. Examples of particles less than 4 microns are Coronavirus 0.1-0.5 microns, Wildfire smoke < 0.4-0.7 microns, Bacterium 1-3 microns, dust particles < 2.5 microns. Respiratory droplets, whilst between 5-10 microns in size have the potential to carry far smaller particles such as dust, bacteria & Covid 19. The SR510 will also protect against larger particles such as cement dust <10 microns & pollen which can be upto 15 microns in size.
04.When do I need to change the SR 510 Particulate filter?
The filter needs to be changed when breathing resistance is encountered (ie ir becomes harder to breath)

The SR P3 filter has a shelf life of 10 years when unopened. The shelf-life dates are shown on the filters.
