The JSP PowerCap Infinity PAPR is a professional level, all-in-one respiratory protection device made to be used in dusty, hazardous, or contaminated locations. This is a fully integrated unit that is a respiratory, head, face, and eye protection all in a single lightweight helmet without the necessity of having several pieces of PPE. It improves comfort, safety, and efficiency in the construction, woodworking, manufacturing, and industrial environments.
The PowerCap Infinity is designed to work in areas containing wood dust, silica, metal particles, fibre or debris and is supplied with clean, filtered air supplied to the helmet by a positive- pressure airflow system. This eliminates the need for face-fit testing and works effectively for users with beards or facial hair, unlike traditional tight-fitting masks.

Facial hair, such as beards, stubble, etc considerably reduces the effectiveness of tight-fitting masks and so the only HSE-compliant powered air-purifying respiratory respirators such as this unit provides protection against harmful contaminants to an APF 40 protection level > FFP3 = APF 20.

The Powercap Infinity Evo 5 head unit has a 3d height adjustment ensuring a comfortable fit with a twin-turbo power unit providing up to 160 litres of air per minute ensuring comfort is maintained during high-intensity physical work. The automatic airflow management system monitors the level of airflow required with the airflow automatically adjusting depending on the level of intensity.
04. Do I need to be face fitted?
No face fitting is required for this unit allowing immediate use and HSE construction site compliance.
05. What protection does the hard head top provide?
If a hard hat is required on-site the Powercap Infinity is fully compliant. The Evo5 Head top conforms to EN397 safety standards with the class 1 optics panoramic visor allowing an excellent field of vision and crystal clear vision for safety. The protective EN 166.B visor has also been tested to withstand a 6mm ball bearing at 270 mph providing the utmost safety.
06. What respiratory protection does the PAPR provide?
The Hepa (High-Performance Particulate Air Filter) TH3 filter is EN 12941:1998 + A2: 2008 safety standard providing TH3 APF 40 protection.
07. How long does the battery last?
Depending on the level of airflow required, the battery will last upto 8hrs on a single charge. The heads-up display within the visor provides up-to-date information on battery life and airflow levels. There is both a visual and audible alarm if the battery runs to low or there is an issue with airflow.
